The Glen and Joe Show first formed in 1982 as a live-performance side project for Glen Nelson and Joe Vizvary, members of the Juno-nominated band Images In Vogue. Since that time, Glen and Joe have recorded and performed electronic music ranging from ambient soundscapes to classic 80s synthpop to electronic dance music.

In the 2000s, Glen and Joe have often opened Images In Vogue concerts performing instrumental versions of IIV songs. In 2016, Artoffact Records released on vinyl The Glen and Joe Show’s 1983 recording of Lock Me Out, previously only available on cassette to club DJs. Glen and Joe continue to record and perform, notably opening for Midge Ure in January 2020 and releasing digital singles and videos of Insect Intelligence in May 2020 and From Our House in October 2021.
